Privacy Policy

Your Turn is a game about honest answers between people who trust each other. We treat what you write inside it accordingly. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.

What we collect

• Account basics: the email address (or phone number) you sign in with, and the display name you choose. We use passwordless one-time codes, so we never store a password.
• Gameplay content: the answers, photos, and voice notes you submit during a session. These exist so the game can reveal them to the person you are playing with — that is their only purpose.
• Game state: sessions, rounds, scores, and streaks, so your games work across devices and interruptions.
• Push token: if you allow notifications, a device token so we can tell you it’s your turn. Notification content is generated by our servers and never includes your answers.

What we deliberately do not do

• We do not sell your data, to anyone, for any reason.
• We do not show ads and do not share your data with advertisers or data brokers.
• We do not use your answers, photos, or voice notes to train AI models. Game prompts are written and reviewed before the app ships — nothing you type is fed back into content generation.
• We do not read your answers except where required to operate the service (for example, investigating an abuse report you send us).

Who can see your answers

Only the person you are playing with, and only after you have both answered — the simultaneous reveal is enforced on our servers, not just in the app. Sessions are private to their participants; there are no public profiles, feeds, or discovery features.

Where your data lives

Data is stored with Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage) on infrastructure located in the United States, protected by row-level security. Push notifications are delivered via Apple and Expo’s notification services. Sign-in code emails are delivered via Resend. Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app: You tab → Delete my account. This permanently removes your account, the sessions you hosted, and your answers. It cannot be undone. You can also email us at privacy@playbespokegames.com and we will handle it for you.

Children

Your Turn is not directed at children under 13, and accounts are not offered to them. Some decks are age-gated for adults only.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the app and update the date at the top of this page.
